The idea of as many schools devoted to gnosis & gnosticism as there are churches and other religious orders

Resurrection

Having had numerous conversations with the person that has assisted me with my art career,  and in order to do this on numerous levels, we have had many conversations about different things on many different levels.  One level was to be able to explain to her,  for her understanding,  about the importance of what the levels of organized religion have done to the mentality of the whole planet.  She has told me at times that she does not understand since she never grew up in a religious household and that she was given an understanding of her a life outside of the structured confines that religion has brought to the masses.

I had to keep searching, for ways to make her understand what I have experienced and seen locally and globally.  Even though she does not have a religious or spiritual nature she is still controlled mentally by the hierarchical nature of this mentality.  Even though she thinks she is fairly free in her thinking,  I see limitations.  Maybe it is because I am at least 18 years older or maybe even since I was at least 5 years old there is a part of me that has always understood things differently.  I would go in and out of this knowing,  not sure what to do with it or what to make of it.  Now I am learning and experiencing how to use it and own it for myself.

What I did say to her recently was "Imagine if there were as many schools devoted to gnosis,  gnosticism and the teachings of it as there are churches and other religious organizations.  The world would not be what it is today."  Then she finally got it.

Waking up this morning at 4:00am and started visualizing.....

the exhibit in the basement of the Olympic Mills Building in the SE inner industrial area of Portland.  Because I could not go back to sleep because I was going with the experience of being there laying it out and laying it out on a schematic with a pencil as well,  I decided to get up and actually start to physically lay it out,  not just in my head.  I was surprised this happened since I have only recently started talking about the exhibit to people again after taking a hiatus allowing other events in my life to occur.  It feels good to be talking with people about this again.  What is another unexpected surprise is to be able to see the new layout pertaining to the physical location that I want for this exhibit,  and that drawing it out,  figuring out the logistics of how people are going to move through and experience what I am hoping they will,  is starting to make it more tangible,  more accessible,  more real to me.

I am still uncertain of where the exhibit will take place but know I will find a location soon.  What I am certain of is the atmosphere that needs to happen for people to feel what I inherently understand and see has happened because of the crucifixion of the feminine.

Just came in the mail "The Priory of Sion Dossiers"

I had ordered from the Bloodline film about a month and a half ago The Priory of Sion Dossiers compiled by Bruce Burgess,  Rene Barnett & Robert Howells.  I just received it in the mail and am blown away by what is in it.  I feel as if I am reading history in the making.  What can one say truly at a moment like this when you have in your hands what I do.  So much information to go over and so incredibly much to process.

Will keep updated.

New painting for the exhibit

A couple of nights ago my intuition directed me towards working on this one particular painting that I did not completely know if it was to be for the Crucifixion exhibit or not.  This morning I realized that it has to be.  There is this image of a woman's face that came out while I had one of the first sessions on the painting months ago.  For some reason I kept this particular painting out in plain view of my sight while working on other pieces.  This I usually do not do.  A couple of nights ago I had the urge,  out of now where,  to work on this piece.  The face intrigued me the most and I usually do not do life like paintings especially of faces.  I was able to paint a face with many emotions ranging from,  sorrow to subdued pain to contempt with a little bit of a smile of hope.  Getting the eyes just right was not necessarily the biggest challenge but the most interesting one that kept me intrigued the whole time.  The image of the face,  which I have come to call the Feminine,  floats above what looks like a landscape of crosses that appear to be crucifying the earth.  It has strong elements of fire and turmoil within the landscape as well as being able to see below it into and underneath what we might only see on the surface.  As if to say that not only has organized religion crucified the feminine but the planet she lives on as well.

Anyone new to my blog........

Hi anyone new to this blog might be a little confused by the pasted video clips from the documentary Bloodline taking over the whole page horizontally. It was covering up the information on the right side of my blog about how many post, when, about me etc. So I thought it was necessary to post this section in order to move the Bloodline trailers down further on the blog.

Also please check out further update on the blog I posted on June 18th titled "The Crucifixion"-The Untold Story of Jesus.

Thanx.................................

What I see is in me

What I see is in me. What I see in others is before me. What I see is true. Who is anyone to question this. Who am I to question this. What I know is that anyone person and everyone I know who is alive has that ability to ask the question "who are they to see, know, believe and understand this."

This I know to be true.

Bloodline-The Movie

I saw an incredible documentary tonight called Bloodline which involves a mans journey while seeking the physical truth to a more recently proposed question that has started to seep into the collective conscious and that is,  is there actual physical evidence to a marriage between the historical Jesus and Mary Magdalene?  Bruce Burgess,  who is the director of this documentary,  started this journey over three years ago.

There is so much to write about and my head is swimming with where to begin.  Perhaps I will do it in segments over time since I am still taking it all in.  I feel as if I have met someone who is on an honest search for truth and would rather rely on experiential witnessing of what his gut tells him is possibly the truth along with all of the technical data that is being gathered from the found evidence.  No arrogance or snobbery,  just honest research from digging hard and deep into an area where many people would fear to tread.

It was the coolest (I know not the best phrase but it seems so appropriate) experience for me on Wednesday to be at Healing Waters & Sacred Spaces while Bruce & Rene Barnett (producer of the film) gave a talk about there journey through there maze of discovery,  not just of the artifacts but of the people they met along the way that helped them in the way they either best knew how to or were able to in the form that was safest for them.

I was partially freaking out Wednesday evening after the talk because I was so blown away knowing the "possibilities,"  and or implications of the findings.  Bruce is very humble about the need to make sure it does not get taken out of context.  He does not say that this is the real tomb of Mary Magdalene but definitely stays more on point about this is what has been found so far and these are the people he has talked with (possible Priory of Sion).  Why I was freaking out was because I just felt it in my bones and gut reaction as to his honesty and excitement about his finds that it felt as if I had hugged someone that has touched "real" history.  Important history if not some of the most important history that could possibly have been discovered.

Truth is always so much more important.  To let people see it before them and then they can decide for themselves after how they feel about it  and or if they believe it or not.

This is a must see and here is the link:  http://.bloodline-themovie.com/

Tag line for film "The Crucifixion" The Untold Story of Jesus

Historians, religious authorities, and theologians agree that there lived a man by the name of Jesus who was crucified on a cross 2000 years ago.

Many people alive today believe this man was and is the "Son of God."

In 1945 in Nag Hammadi Egypt, ancient scrolls found in earthenware jars shed new light on a different Jesus from the existing canonical bible. They tell us of a man that may or may not have been the actual "Son of God," but a man who knew what it meant to be God.

These scrolls have come to be known as the Gnostic Gospels.

Gnosis - Self knowledge, knowledge of self as god.

Movie Title "The Crucifixion"- The Untold Story of Jesus

This idea for a movie came about last fall when talking with a friend of mine who happens to be in the movie industry as a screenwriter. Since then I have written almost a whole notebook filled with notes, ideas, and actual scenes pertaining to the story.

All the myths surrounding the Jesus figure in the canonical bible will not be used. Instead what will be used is the information gathered from the gnostic scriptures. Considering that the gnostic scriptures have not been manipulated for at least 1600 years, unlike the canonical bible that was put in to existence at the Council of Nicea in 325 AD, I would expect more accuracy as to what the historical Jesus actually said.

This is one of the most well known and important figures in western civilization if not the most important. Even if you do or don't believe this figure was who he was is irrelevant. It is the people that used the idea that the only way to "God" is through his "Son" and that you will only find Jesus in the Christian Church, have put fear in to people's minds that has kept them from understanding that every person can be there own god of there own universe. Its as if by keeping people fearful of a jealous god that has allowed the Christian churches to have control over people's minds so they can become slaves to the people who want control over them. People in our society seem to feel as if they have no control over there own lives that it is some other source that has control. This is what the mentality of Christian Churches have permeated into the structure of our society whether you believe in religion or not.

In reality after reading many segments of the Gnostic Gospels there is a different version of what the possible historical Jesus was saying and that is "Everyone [of you] who has known himself has seen it" - Dialogue of the Saviour. Further along Matthew persists in asking him questions, Jesus says that he does not know the answer himself, "nor have I heard about it, except from you."

The disciple who comes to know himself can discover, then, what even Jesus cannot teach. The Testimony of Truth says that the gnostic becomes a "disciple of his [own] mind," discovering that his own mind "is the father of the truth."

The Gospel of Philip explores further the relationship of experiential truth to verbal description. Religious language is one of internal transformation: whoever perceives divine reality "becomes what he sees";
....You saw the spirit, you became spirit. You saw Christ, you became Christ. You saw [the Father, you] shall become Father....you see yourself, and what you see you shall [become].

Whoever achieves gnosis (knowledge of self) becomes "no longer a Christian, but a Christ."

I remember reading this last fall when I started researching for my exhibit and realized that he was talking about what the dvd The Secret talks about-the Law of Attraction. Its as if he was self aware and wanted people to know they can be as well, not the only way towards salvation to god is to believe that Jesus was his son. If Jesus were alive today he would probably consider such ideas as heresy.

This story needs to be more of telling someone's spiritual journey and the history surrounding this person's journey and to making it more tangible to everyone and possibly why such knowledge of self awareness could have become harmful to the religions of the day, Judaism, Islam.

There is so much more to write but I have been suffering from an incredible migraine for the past two days and I almost thought I was going to have to take myself to the hospital last night because of it. I got it under control but it feels as if it is wanting to come back so I have to take control of it now.

Further info on Crucifixion of the Feminine exhibit

Further information on this exhibit is as follows:

The reason that this point in history is chosen is because it is the most pivotal point in our western civilization since this is when the newly formed Christian Church began its radical movement of an idea that a dead man was able to come back to life, and that the only way for eternal salvation for our sins was thru the Catholic "Universal" Church (and/or other organized religions, Born Agains, Lutherans, Protestant, Baptist, etc.) since that is where the "Son of God" is found. Up to this point other religions celebrated the cycle of birth and death, otherwise the natural cycles of life. "Christianity insists that in one unique historical moment, the cycle reversed, and a dead man came back to life."-Elaine Pagels.

By placing a Feminine (woman) on the cross in place of the Christ figure I will be showing that it was and still is the nature of the feminine that was/is being crucified since the natural cycle of birth and death in religions was removed from the process and it is the Feminine inherent in humanity that is being crucified still to this day.

The natural cycles of life that the Feminine and Masculine shared together has been removed and now the negative only parts of the Masculine (not to be misinterpreted as the only aspect of the Masculine since there are many positive traits in the Masculine as well) has overpowered any positive aspect of itself and practically has removed the Feminine from our western society.

One way I have come to look at this is as follows:
The Feminine would ask the question: Is this good for the whole.
The Masculine would ask the question: Is this good for me.

There is a time when either is necessary and not necessarily one or the other. Finding the balance of when to make those decisions is what is necessary.

IT HAS BEGUN

The crucifixion of the feminine has begun.
